Currently no workshops are scheduled as a few processes will be upgraded in the studio including switching to traditional rosin aquatint. If you are looking to do a workshop, get in touch to see if we can work out something in the meantime.
[updated Nov 2024]
Learn the traditional etching method on copper over one or both workshops. The Copper Plate Etching workshop covers the process of plate preparation through to printing. The images you can create in this workshop will be drawn with line, cross-hatching or stippling.
The Sugarlift and Aquatint Workshop also covers the entire process from prep to print, however we create the image with a brush and add tone. The workshops are complimentary and you can combine the techniques to create one or two images using both methods over the two lessons.
Bookings are limited to groups of 3 or 4 only. Book early so you can prepare a sketch of what you would like to print. Workshops can also be arranged for individuals and groups on a flexible basis. Get in contact if you would like to arrange one.
